Dr. Capers Lee founded the Dental Team of Sumter in 1986 after graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Lee, originally from this area of South Carolina, is determined to provide superior dental care in a warm and caring Christian environment. "With advances like we've seen in dentistry for the last 10 or 15 years, following the golden rule of serving others as you would yourself has become much simpler," he says.
While in Venezuela on a dental mission trip, Dr. Lee met Dr. Thaddeus Vincent Jr. There they realized they not only share a desire to provide the highest quality dentistry available, but also a desire to lovingly serve others both locally and abroad. Together, they have travelled throughout Central America providing care for those in need.
These dentists together with their entire staff continued to provide superior dentistry to their patients resulting in ongoing practice growth. At the Dental Team of Sumter, patients feel like individual persons who are truly cared about. Staff members take the time to learn patient's names and to identify their needs with a genuine spirit of kindness.
