Ivy has been at the Dental Team of Sumter since October 2001. Ivy graduated from Midlands Technical College as a Certified Dental Assistant. Playing many roles, from an expanded duty dental assistant to the business and financial end of the practice. She can help you with insurance, scheduling, or dental questions. Dental Team is part of her family and she loves the caring, Christian environment makes it a pleasure for Ivy to go to work every day. She loves that Dr. Lee is a man who loves the Lord and she has the opportunity to share the love of Christ with everyone who comes through the door. Ivy is a Manning native. She is married to William and they have two children Molly and Liam. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jennifer is a Sumter native. She is married to Jonathon and they have two girls, Hannah Grace and Caroline. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, Clemson football and being actively involved in ministry at Bethesda Church of God. What she enjoys most about the Dental Team is how open she can be with her faith with patients and give them daily encouragement through scripture and prayer.
Rose Ann Snipes
Rose Ann joined the dental team in June of 2017, after relocating back to South Carolina. Rose's joy comes from Jesus who has blessed her with a loving family to include her husband, Steve, her children and grand children. She enjoys walking on the beach and spending time with her family. After teaching for 20 years she decided to reenter the dental world. She loves coming to work because of the genuine Christian coworkers who have become like family. Dr. Lee's leadership points us to share God's love to each person we come in contact with. She feels there is nowhere else she would rather work!
Stacy joined the Dental Team of Sumter in February 2009 after relocating to Sumter with her husband their sons Jarron and Paxton. She is a certified dental assistant, having received her training from Pima Medical Institute in 2005 where she finished with honors. She spent three years assisting and helping to build a practice from the ground up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. With a contagious happiness, Stacy loves to serve patients in any manner possible. Helping change a patient’s perception of the dentist and restoring smiles inspire her daily. Away from the office, Stacy enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends at the lake.
Jessica has worked in dentistry since 2010 and joined the Dental Team in October 2017. She is a native of Barnwell, SC. She spent a few years out West where she received her training from the American School of Dental Assisting in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Jessica is married to Jesse and they have a daughter Adelyn and a son Jace. She enjoys working with Dr. Lee and the staff because of the great Christian environment and the way the team cares for their patients. It is a pleasure to come to work and feel the love for the Lord thru all of her coworkers. Outside of work she loves spending time with her family, going to the beach and going on last minute travel adventures with her husband.
Kim joined the Dental Team in September 2012. She loves working at the Dental Team because of the great Christian environment and coworkers. Dr. Lee is an amazing dentist and a Godly man who cares for everyone like they are his own family. Kim was born in Horry County, Myrtle Beach, and raised and lives in Sumter. She is married to Gus Davis and has three children: Reed, Gus, and Sammie. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and working at her church.
Renee has worked in dentistry since 1988: first as a dental assistant and then as a registered dental hygienist. She has an associate’s degree in health science and received her Bachelor of Health Science in 2006. She has worked at the Dental Team of Sumter since 1992 and loves working with Dr. Lee because he is a Godly man who loves to serve others. Her most rewarding moments as a dental hygienist are when she is able to educate her patients on periodontal (gum) disease and when her patients return with healthy, beautiful gums. Renee is a native of Manning, and now lives in Alcolu with her husband Daniel and two children, Ross and Sarah. When Renee is not working at the Dental Team, she loves spending time with family. She loves the beach and goes as much as she can, and is very active in church, where she serves as a youth coordinator and teaches a Sunday school class.
Melanie is a native of Manning, and has lived in Sumter since 1982. She has an associate’s degree in health science and has worked in the field of dentistry as a registered dental hygienist since 1980. Melanie has been a part of the Dental Team of Sumter since 1995. She loves working with Dr. Capers Lee because he is a Godly man who treats his employees and patients as he would his own family. Her most rewarding moments as a dental hygienist are when she is able to educate and encourage patients to achieve optimum oral health as well as an overall physical well-being. When Melanie is not working at the Dental Team, she loves spending time with her family, serving in her church, and oil painting on canvas. She has been married to Michael Steen for 35 years. They have a son Ryan and a daughter-in-law, Carrie, and a beautiful granddaughter Afton.
Heather began working in dentistry in 2007 as a hygiene assistant. She graduated Midlands Techincal college in 2010 with an Associates degree in Health Science and loves being a Registered Dental Hygienist. She found her work home at the Dental Team in 2010 with a brief time away, and loves being apart of such an amazing God loving team. Heather enjoys working for Dr. Lee because he is a great boss with a fun personality and has a heart for the Lord. She loves serving in the dental community and finds it very rewarding, educating and encouraging patients in their dental health. Outside of work, Heather loves spending time with her only daughter Camdyn Grace and her husband TJ. They enjoy being involved in their church and anything outdoors.
