Front Desk
Julie Tracy
Julie Tracy is a native of Portsmouth, Ohio, and moved to South Carolina in 1990. She is the office manager for the Dental Team. Julie has two daughters, Amanda and Tiffany. Her favorite activities are teaching Sunday school and youth group, and any activities that involve the outdoors. She enjoys working in a Christian office where the main goal is to serve patients. Julie thinks the entire staff is awesome and says Dr. Lee and Dr. Vincent are the best doctors in the world.
Jennifer Harris
Jennifer Harris is a Sumter native. She has a daughter, Hannah Grace, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, Clemson football and hobbies that keep her outdoors such as hunting and fishing. Jenn loves making sure every patient is welcomed into the office with a warm smile and bubbly personality so that they feel more like family. One of the best things about working at the Dental Team is the unapologetic Christian atmosphere. Dr. Lee and Dr. Vincent encourage each of their staff members to not only have fun while working, but also make sure that God is put first so that His joy and love is spread to each of our patients.

Julie "JJ" Floyd
Julie Floyd was born in Newberry and raised in Sumter. She has been married to David Floyd for 17 years and has two children, Joshua and Bertie. Julie has been a dental assistant for 11 years. She enjoys the Dental Team because of the Christian environment and the amazing staff. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Dental Assistants
Stacy Garcia
Stacy Garcia joined the Dental Team of Sumter in February of 2009 after relocating to Sumter with her husband, who is in the United States Air Force, and their son Jarron. She is a Certified Dental Assistant having received her training from Pima Medical Institute in 2005 where she finished with honors. She then spent 3 years assisting and helping build a practice from the ground up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. With a contagious happiness, Stacy loves to serve patients in any manner possible. Helping change a patient’s perception of the dentist and restoring smiles inspire her daily. Away from the office, Stacy enjoys spending time with family and friends at the lake.
Katie Finch
Katie Finch became a part of the Dental Team in December of 2009. She is originally from the small town of Tobaccoville, North Carolina. She new she wanted to work in the dental field since she was in the 8th grade. Katie went to school at Forsyth Tech in Winston-Salem, NC, where she became a Certified Dental Assistant. Katie moved to Sumter when her husband was stationed at Shaw, AFB. Katie enjoys visiting family and friends in NC, shopping, the outdoors, and spending time with the best two dogs in the world, Roxy and Adika. Katie feels working in a Christian dental office is such a blessing to her and the patients. She thinks of her co-workers as family and enjoys working with them to help patients receive a happy and healthy smile!
Marie Foster
Marie Foster resides in Summerton with her husband, Sam, where they have lived for 5 years. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, also cooking, sewing, and boating with her husband. She has been in dentistry for 23+ years and has been with the Dental Team of Sumter for 3 years. She enjoys working alongside the doctors and learning the new techniques dentistry has to offer. Marie looks forward to one on one contact with every patient. It is important to her that all her patients are comfortable and to assure them that they are getting the best of dental care. Marie says she enjoys working with Dr. Lee and Dr. Vincent because they are Godly men and have great personalities. They are fun and easy to work with.
Dental Hygienists
Renee
Renee is a native of Manning, South Carolina, and now lives in Alcolu with her husband, Daniel, and two children, Ross age 12 and Sarah age 7. Renee has worked in Dentistry since 1988, first as a dental assistant and then as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has an associate's degree in Health Science and she also received her bachelor's of Health Science degree in 2006. She has worked at the Dental Team of Sumter since 1992 and loves working with Dr. Lee and Dr. Vincent because they are Godly men who love to serve others. Her most rewarding moments as a dental hygienist are when she is able to educate her patients on periodontal (gum) disease and when her patients return with healthy, beautiful gums. When Renee is not working at the Dental Team, she loves spending time with her husband, two children, and her other family members. She loves the beach and goes as much as she can, and she is also very active in church, where she serves as a Children's Coordinator and teaches a Sunday school class.
Melanie Steen
Melanie Steen is a native of Manning, South Carolina, and has lived in Sumter since 1982. She has an associate's degree in Health Science and has worked in the field of dentistry as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1979. Melanie has been a part of the Dental Team of Sumter since 1995. She loves working with Dr. Capers Lee and Dr. Thad Vincent because they are both Godly men who treat their employees and their patients as they would their own family. Her most rewarding moments as a Dental Hygienist are when she is able to educate and encourage patients to achieve optimum oral health as well as an overall physical well-being. When Melanie is not working at the Dental Team, she loves spending time with her family, attending Beth Moore Bible Studies, and oil painting on canvas. She has been married to Michael Steen for 26 years. They have a son, Ryan, and a daughter-in-law, Carrie.
Heather Mullen
Heather Mullen moved to Sumter in 2004, met her husband TJ and they now have a little girl, Camdyn. She has been in the dental field since 2007, when she started as a hygiene assistant. Heather graduated from Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC with an Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2010. She loves the rewarding feeling she gets as a hygienist when patients get excited about their oral health. Heather finds it refreshing to work in a Christian atmosphere and is thankful to be a part of the Dental Team, where we love each other and our patients like family, and most of all put God first in everything. Outside of work Heather enjoys spending time with her family, Gamecock football and singing in her church choir.
Lauren Harrington
Lauren Harrington has been part of the Sumter Community since 1994. Lauren graduated from Florence-Darlington Technical College with an Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2009. She thrives on educating people on dental care and loves building relationships with each patient. Lauren has learned through experience to always put God first and everything will fall into place. She is thankful and considers herself blessed to work among such wonderful followers of Christ. Lauren enjoys spending time with family, boating with her husband Michael, and shoe shopping.
