Meet the Dentists
Dr. Lee
Dr. Capers Lee earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 1982 and his dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina Dental School in 1986. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association and the Sumter Dental Study Club. He is also a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Society as well as the Christian Dental Society.
Dr. Lee has been married to Tilly for 20 years and they have three sons: Hunter, Banks and Myles. Dr. Lee has been a Sunday School teacher for 17 years at Manning United Methodist Church as has served on and chaired numerous committees. He serves locally at Tuomey Hospital in the Healthreach program which treats disadvantaged children who have "fallen through the cracks." He has served on international mission trips with several missionaries and agencies, including Christian Medical and Dental Society, Christian Dental Society, Evangelism Task Force, Global Health Outreach and Dental Community Fellowship.
Dr. Lee participated in foreign mission trips in 2005 and spent eight days in Venezuela and nine days in Honduras. In 2006, Dr. Lee returned to Venezuela and Honduras and is currently planning a 2007 trip to Ecuador. Dr. Lee accompanies the dental students from the Medical University of South Carolina as well as Christian dentists who support M.U.S.C. He takes his sons along, as well, to help them gain a better understanding of the blessings that come from living in American and to help them to be a blessing to others.
Dr. Lee is active in his sons' sports events and enjoys the great outdoors including hunting, fishing, camping, skiing and coaching baseball and football teams.
Dr. Thad Vincent
Dr. Vincent graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Kinesiology. He then received his doctorate degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Upon graduation, Dr. Vincent has vigorously pursued continuing education in the fields of cosmetic dentistry and comprehensive care. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, Academy of General Dentists and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Vincent has been married to his high school sweetheart Lara, a decorative artist, since 2004. They have travelled together to Venezuela and ecuador on mission trips with Dental Community Fellowship and are passionately involved with Young Life, a ministry to high school students.
